The Beach

Eliot has been asking me for months when it would be warm enough for us to go to the beach. Luckily Papa and Grandma came to town and gave us the perfect excuse to go spend a beautiful day at the beach. It was truly lovely. We built a castle. Then the stomping giants came and destroyed it with glee.

Eliot ventured into the waves with Daddy. And Ben and Papa ran giggling from the waves.

Ben had his first allergic reaction to sunscreen. It's gonna be an interesting summer.

Allergic to sunscreen. Bummer. At least he (like all of us) has that dark mediterranean skin so it shouldn't be a problem.

Yep. On the Fourth of July he had his second allergic reaction to a different brand of sunscreen. Yes, the boy is now in a bind since his genetic make-up makes for disasterous sun experiences without sunscreen (look at a post in Sept 2009).
Glad to hear all is going well in El Salvador!
