Eliot & Benjamin

We decided to brave the heat and the crowds and headed to the beach with friends. It ended up not being too crowded. However it was HOT. So hot that the sand burned your feet even with sandals on. Overall we escaped without too many sunburns. And with our skin, that is quite the accomplishment. There was a lot of sand building, water pouring and wet sand collection. Maja wanted to be buried and Jared and Kim were happy to accommodate her. Benjamin didn't get the concept and quickly dug her out. Unlike last year when Ben was ready to merge completely with the ocean, this year he was nervous around it. For safety reasons, this was a blessing. But for enjoyment purposes, I hope he grows out of it a little bit.
