The Phone Call

In case you have been waiting for Eliot's call to God about the dinosaurs (refer to Sept 15), it happened yesterday and it was priceless. I can't possibly recreate the whole conversation. But here is part of the one side: Eliot jumps from the table after making the bbbring, bbbring sound. He picks up his play phone, "Oh, Heavenly Father, how are you? I'm good, just eating. Yeah, [laughs hysterically], you are so funny Heavenly Father. Yeah, so Heavenly Father have the dinosaurs moved? Oh, yeah, really. India. India in our world. Maybe I can go visit. Yeah, [again laughing hysterically], you so funny. Oh no, your phone is going to die. I am sorry. Oh, ... Mommy, Heavenly Father had to go because his phone was dying." Hilarious. You can rightly guess that he hears us say that a lot with our cell phones. Some version of this occurred three more times as God's phone battery went through a process of needing breaks. I suppose I must use the filler "yeah" a lot when I talk on the phone because Eliot does a ton. India it is. And not India anywhere else, India in our world, that is where the dinosaurs live now. So someday some explorer might come upon one giant ankylosaurus while traveling through India.
